Bolts have threads till the end to mate with the inner threads of nuts perfectly, which are manufactured professionally by PRADAKO skilful operators.
Head of the bolt takes its shape depending upon the purpose of the need and the place where it will be used.
List below briefly explain the commonly used heads for bolts.
Hexagon headBolts: This is most common form of bolt and is used for general fastening purpose. The hexagonal head is chamfered at its upper-end.
To prevent rotation of the bolt while screwing the nut on or off,the bolt-head is heldby another spanner.
Square head Bolt: These bolts are generally used when the head is to be accommodated in recess.
This recess is also made of square shape so that the bolt is prevented from turning when the nut is screwed on or off. This bolt is commonly used in bearings for shafts.
Cheese head Bolt: This bolt is used where projecting corners are undesirable, and where the space for accommodating the bolt-head is comparatively limited. These bolts are commonly used in big ends of connecting rods, eccentrics, etc.
Cup head or Round head Bolt: This bolt is used when projecting corners are undesirable and where better appearance is required.it is usually provided witha snug forged on the shank just below the head.
T-head Bolt: Thesetypes of bolts are used for securing clamps, vices and other accessories to the table of machine tools. The tables are provided with t-slots to accommodate the T-heads.
